Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael, or collectively the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, are the most badass fighting turtles.
With a little help from some radioactive goo and the teachings of a martial arts master named Splinter (who is also a giant rat) four unlikely and abandoned turtles became the saviours of New York and found a place in the hearts of many a fan.
They've been on hour screens, in our comic books and in our hands as figures since the late 1980's and they are as popular today as they have ever been. We all have a favourite turtle who on some level we feel we can relate to and all eagerly anticipate for Splinter to make a 'funny'! Before our eyes the ninja turtles have fought petty criminals, mutated abominations, alien invaders and their arch enemy Shredder- each time risking their shells and protecting their secret sewer hideout!!
