My name is Isaiah Leyva and I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. Like most artist, Ive been been doing art since a young age and went to high school at San Francisco School of the Arts, and graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in studio art with a focus on painting. I have been interested in tattooing ever since I was able to get tattooed in a legitimate shop, and as a lot of people know San Francisco was once, and in my eyes still the Mecca of tattooing. I was fortunate to be surrounded by a lot of living legends in tattooing that produce amazing work daily, which keeps me pushing to do the best work I can do. I tattoo at Rebel Gallery Tattoo in the Hunters Point area and I have been there for 5 years. I had my apprenticeship there and am now a full time tattooer. I love to work in Traditional, Japanese, and Black and grey, but am alway open to doing whatever walks in the door.
