While I haven’t been to this specific studio, I received my first ever tattoo from Big Jaz, the owner of this shop. I gotta say, I’m really sad that he’s not in Richmond, VA anymore. I’ve gotten tattoos from 6 different artists now, and I gotta say Jaz was the most professional. His pricing was very fair and he also was better at communicating with me than just about any artist I’ve worked with, which is saying a lot because he’s the only artist whose done a piece requiring multiple sessions. Basically he was way more professional than most artists I’m used to dealing with, and I really appreciated it. Anyways, the tattoo he gave me is by far my favorite and if I lived in Brooklyn, this would be the only shop I ever went to. I hope to be able to get another one from him if I ever go back to NY.
