Worst experience I have ever had with a tattoo studio.
When I booked the tattoo I explained precisely what I wanted and that I wanted it placed on my ribs to the booking manager. He replied to me that he had spoken with the tattoo artist and that it would take about 6 hours and could be done in one session. Great. I pay the 400EUR deposit, book accommodation and buy my flight tickets to holland. (I'm from sweden)
I fly to holland and arrive to the studio. When the tattoo artist shows me the sketch first thing I notices is that it is missing a lot of the important details that I asked for, and he was also completely unaware that I wanted it on my ribs. He said "If you want it on the ribs I have to redraw it and it will take at least 2 sessions, which I don't have time for right now" The tattoo artist then showed me the information he had received from the booking manager, which was a total of 3 words, not saying anything about placement and missing out on big parts of the tattoo idea. So the booking manager had never discussed the tattoo with him and the "6 hours" was just some made up number. Disappointed I left the studio.
For weeks after I tried to contact the booking management to perhaps get some compensation for all the expenses this had caused me. The discussion I had with them afterwards was very frustrating as they were refusing to take any responsibility for this. Eventually I got the deposit back, nothing more. Never received an apology.
Absolute garbage management.
